Pride ego-ness stubborness, signs of manly-ness but what worth issit really in a relationship?

People say put your pride and ego down if you really love your women;but what they didnt tell you was that you had to use it sparingly,and only for times that mattered. For what would a man who often put down his ego and pride look like? -- A hand pecked husband, someone who doesnt have a say in anything. This was a  point i realized too late.

I tried to regain my power but the struggle for power became a warzone. Small quarrels turned to big quarrels. Slowly there were recurring quarrels with repeated problems that just couldnt be solved; One party was too used to being given into, didnt want to give in. The other party  who often gave in now didnt want to give in. Naturally the quarrels started to set us apart. Love wasnt enough to hold us in. We both came to a conclusion that if neither of us gave in, then it wouldnt work out.

Dont bother asking us what happened, but yeah, this is final. We're over. I just hope you guys spare us the questions as i really dont wanna talk abt it.
