been so bz during the chinese new year period

well, chinese new year was fun. Got to see my cousins again. Well i must say, we are all grown up already!

4 things i love abt chinese new year:

• Collecting ang baos

Its the only event where you will see smiles on faces when they give money. And OMG my biggest ang bao record this year 50 bux! First time in my life, my parents gave me ang bao. i was like HUH? y suddenly so nice. Then second biggest was my aunts 28 bux! after which were standard 6 bux and the older generation gave 10 bux.

• Seeing you cousins

Well i'm not sure for you guys, but i love seeing my cousins. Talking to them during new year is like an assurance to your whole year. They always start out by saying

"So where you stuying now? "

Then they will start to talk to you about what you are studying now and about your future. Then they will like give you advise on what to do.

• Foood. FOOOOODD!

i LOVE the food!! every where you go, there's food. You need not worry about what food to spend on. And the food they cook is always yummy! STEAMBOAT, STEWED MUSHROOM DAI SUKI!!

• GAMBLING!!

not saying i'm a gambler or a DU GUI. but gambling's damn exciting. Its fun when you win. But it sucks when you lose. but o, i learn a new game called BINGO ( using mahjong tiles to play) and i won 40 bux just by playing it lol.

well the next event is Willie's bday!

Well it was more like slacking there haha.. but for the first time.. i bao all the bbq work, only setting of fire got Willie and Nic to help. But the rest i bao all the way. In the end i BAO one whole pit by myself, setting up of fire, cooking etc etc.. but the most fuck up thing was when carel walked in, assuming i didnt do anything, she said " no food for the 2 of you, you leave Willie and nick to do everything." Lol but seriously, its not that i never do anything. I did help up with the fire starting and setting up of the table. The food's not here, what else is there to do?

but Willie's bbq was a success. Everything was bbq-ed finished. though i felt it was quite little lol. a bbq isnt a bbq without chicken wings. but at least there were sting rays. After which went to some pub by the beach. Well i would say its a make out area lol. a pub with beds on the beach its like WTF? lol. didnt order anything, found it quite ex.

after that dai dee-d awhile tv awhile, went strolling to 7-eleven and SLEEP.

woke up with a bad sore throat and felt damn sick. Knew i was going to have fever. Didnt really wanan go reunion dinner but bo bian. Reunion dinner will not be a success without everyone making an effort to go. So i HAD to at least try.

met up at orchard first. i was late cos i kept lai chuang. in the end they had to see 530 show.. gomenasai. but i sure was fun seeing everybody's faces. and it sure was fun watching a movie together. i mean, the feeling of watching a movie together its like SUGOI! lol.. oh and b t w we watched "just follow LAW"

well reunion was held at marina bay. overall damn fun.
